Noctuary (the “app”) is a personal journaling app for dream entries, sleep summaries, AI-based scene reconstruction, and insight features. This document explains what information the app uses and how it is processed.
The app does not serve ads and does not build advertising tracking profiles.
Information is used only for the following purposes.
HealthKit data is used on-device for sleep summaries and reminders only, never for advertising or marketing.
Dream entries may sync to your private iCloud account. When you request AI scene reconstruction or premium insights, the dream text and context needed for that feature may be sent to Noctuary's secure servers.
Noctuary's processing systems handle information only to the extent needed to fulfill your request. Noctuary does not sell dream entries and does not share them with advertisers. Apple handles App Store payments and subscription management.
You can delete entries directly in the app. Data synced to iCloud can be managed from your Apple device and iCloud settings. AI job history stored in your Noctuary account and servers can be deleted using the app's account deletion feature. Information required to be retained by law may be kept for the applicable period.
Notification, HealthKit, iCloud, and login permissions can be managed in your device settings and in-app settings. Core local dream-journaling features remain available even if you decline these permissions, though some features may be limited.
The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent.
This policy may be updated as app features or applicable laws change. Updates are reflected in the “Last updated” date on this document.
